Habit Streaks
Privacy Policy
Habit Streaks is an app by Mykyta Huchenko (“we”, “us”) that helps you build habits, keep streaks and track your mood. This policy describes the information used to provide your account, sync your habits, manage purchases and understand how the app works. For support or privacy requests, contact guchenko.n@gmail.com.
Information we use
Account information: your account identifier, email address and display name, where supplied by you or your sign-in provider. Sign-in with email and password, Apple or Google is handled through Firebase Authentication; we never see your password or your Apple or Google credentials.
Your habit data: the habits you create and their schedules and reminder settings, your check-ins, mood entries, breaks, onboarding choices and app preferences. This data is stored in Cloud Firestore under your account; some preferences are stored only on your device.
Purchases: product and transaction information, receipts and subscription status used by Apple and RevenueCat to provide Pro and restore purchases. RevenueCat also receives your account identifier, and your email address and display name where available, to link purchases to your account. Apple processes payments; we do not receive your payment card details.
Usage information: events such as onboarding steps, paywall views, offers shown and purchase and restore outcomes, together with app version and app sessions. Mixpanel receives these events with an app user identifier after sign-in and SDK information such as device model, operating system, app version, event time and approximate location (city and country) derived from your IP address. We do not send your email address, name or the contents of your habits and mood entries to Mixpanel.
Firebase Analytics information: app interactions, an app instance identifier, device and operating system information and approximate geographic information derived by the service. Habit Streaks does not request GPS location access.
Support correspondence: the issue category, message and optional reply email you choose to submit through the support form, or information you send by email. The form is processed by Google Apps Script and delivered to our support mailbox. Please avoid sending passwords, payment card details or information unrelated to your request.
Why we use this information
We use account and habit data to operate the app and sync it across your devices; purchase information to grant and restore paid access; and usage information to find problems and improve onboarding, habits and purchases. We use your email address to run your account and answer your requests, not for marketing.
Reminders and offer notifications are scheduled on your device and need your notification permission. You can turn them off at any time.
Service providers
Habit Streaks uses Google Firebase for authentication, cloud storage and analytics, RevenueCat for subscription management, Mixpanel for product analytics, and Apple for purchases and Sign in with Apple. These providers process information for those services under their own terms and privacy documentation. The Habit Streaks Mixpanel project is configured for EU data residency; other providers may process information in other countries. We do not sell your personal information or use it for cross-app advertising tracking.

Retention and deletion
Your account and habit data are kept while you have an account. You can delete your account in the app’s account settings; this removes your habits, check-ins, mood entries and other account data from our database together with your sign-in account. Recent sign-in and a network connection are required.
Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Purchase records, analytics records, provider backups and records required for accounting, security or legal obligations can have separate retention periods. To request access, correction or deletion of personal information held through these services, email us. We may need to verify that the request belongs to you.
Your choices and rights
You can manage notification permission in system settings, sign-in access with Apple or Google, and subscriptions with Apple. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your information, or to object to or restrict its processing, including analytics. Contact us to use them; you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Habit Streaks is not directed at children under 13, or under the minimum age set by the law of your country. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app or its services change. The date at the top identifies this version; for significant changes we will also tell you in the app.
